There is a very well known Polish child song "Każdy ma jakiegoś bzika” /”Everybody is crazy about something”. If this is true or false, it is up to you to decide. But in regards to the song itself, a new group emerged in Belfast. It is called Photo Meetups Northern Ireland and its members are crazy about photography.

Everybody is welcome to join the group, but there are some requirements. The most important is to be willing to have fun. It is of no importance who is going to take the best or worst pic. What counts is a drive to go for it. We are also not interested in the methods of picture shooting- one can try to take pics using shoe box with a hole in it, the other- with a highly sophisticated device. The goals are simple: to learn taking pictures, visit interesting places, document life in NI during parades, concerts, etc- and everything just to make weekends exciting and exceptional, not just ordinary days off.

1.  Info-Port/TransferPL – what is it?

It is a project that aims at providing Polish citizens living abroad with reliable information on life and work outside Poland. Its main objective is to provide advice and to cooperate with governmental and non-governmental bodies which possess appropriate knowledge and experience in the work with immigrants.

2.  Who is the addressed part?

The project is directed to these Poles who live temporary or permanently in Northern Ireland and Scotland, approx. 200 thousand people altogether.

3.  Is the project relevant to Poles who are going to leave United Kingdom and come back to Poland?

TransferPL is a part of a project that will focus on migrants who have decided to come back to Poland or they are considering such an option. It will help to sort out things in United Kingdom , collect documents, certificates and to monitor job market in Poland with the help of Job Agencies, recruitment agencies, private employers or professional magazines, what can be instrumental in creating a bigger picture of employment opportunities in Poland. Also, job fairs and professional trainings are planned.
